MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Flight Plan Management: Plan and conduct flight tests (test flights) according to the approved scenarios, objectives, and technical standards.
· Operating Utility Vehicles: Transport aircraft during tests: takeoff/landing, autonomous flight, formation flying, waypoint navigation; assess stability and safety.
· Configuration System: Install, calibrate, and test system parameters (flight controller, GPS, IMU, compass, communication link...) before and after each test flight.
· Data Analysis: Monitor, collect, and analyze data logs (flight logs); performance, detect errors, and propose solutions.
· Technical Coordination: Coordinate embedded components, control, mechanical, and propulsion departments to adjust and optimize the flight system.
· Reporting & Compliance: Prepare flight test reports, document results, risks, and improvement suggestions; adhere to flight safety procedures and relevant legal regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Education: Bachelor's degree in fields such as Aviation, Mechatronics, Control - Automation, Electrical - Electronics, IT, or related engineering disciplines.
· Professional knowledge: Knowledge of flight principles, automatic control, positioning systems, and pathways.
· Experience: Experience in operating and testing utility vehicles; preference for candidates who have participated in flight tests, formation flying, or auto flying.
· Support tools: Understanding and using flight control systems and ground control stations (PX4, ArduPilot, QGC, Mission Planner, or compatible).
· Analytical skills: Ability to read, analyze log data, and transform sensor data to evaluate performance and detect faults.
· Attitude & Skills: Willingness to work outside of regular hours, ability to handle work pressure, and strict adherence to flight safety discipline.
